Host My Blog started from a plain observation: most blogs break for boring, fixable reasons, and almost nobody wants to be the one watching for them. The company behind it was named ética, Spanish for ethics, because that was the bar the work had to clear before anything else. That has not moved since. Every site here is still handled by hand, by people who have run WordPress long enough to know which shortcuts cost you later, and who would rather do the unglamorous version properly.
The growth was ordinary. It began with a handful of bloggers who were tired of fighting their own websites, and it went one carefully looked-after site at a time until it was hundreds of them. There was no launch moment and no leap. Just years of showing up, fixing the thing at 2am when it mattered, and earning the next site by looking after the last one properly. That is still how the work arrives, almost entirely by referral from someone we already look after.
It is a small senior team rather than a support desk, and that is deliberate. Care and delivery, design and brand, hosting and performance: three people who each own their side of it and answer their own email. Nobody here is a ticket number to anybody else, which is the only reason the promise holds at this size. When your site has a problem, the person reading about it is the person who will fix it, and they already know your setup.
The team has stayed close to the craft. Between them they speak at WordCamps, contribute back to the WordPress community, and have spent years building tools used by people who run sites for a living. That matters here for one practical reason: the problems your blog will hit are problems this team has already hit on somebody else's site first, usually more than once.
The way Host My Blog works has not really changed since day one. Less noise, more clarity. We keep your blog fast, safe and online, and quiet until something actually matters, so you can get on with the work that grows your business. If your blog matters to you, it matters to us.
