Raj Zore, who founded HostMyBlog, calls himself an accidental entrepreneur, though there was nothing accidental about the work. Years ago he landed in a new city with no cushion and no plan, doing web jobs late into the night just to make rent. The first company he built he named ética, Spanish for ethics, because it was the one thing he had, and he was never willing to trade it for a faster win. Everything since has been built the same way, by hand and with care, the hard way.
HostMyBlog grew out of that same stubborn instinct: quietly take care of people’s blogs so they never have to think about them. It started with a handful of bloggers who were tired of fighting their own websites, and it grew the only way Raj knew how, one carefully looked-after site at a time, until it was caring for hundreds of them. There was no overnight leap. Just years of showing up, fixing the thing at 2am, and earning the next site by looking after the last one properly.
For a long time it was Raj doing nearly all of it himself, and there is only so far one pair of hands can carry a promise. So it stopped being a one-person job. Bijal joined and pours that same care into design and brand, so every blog looks like the real business behind it. Aditya joined and holds up the engine room, the hosting and speed and security that simply has to work, every single day. The three of them still run it themselves, and still answer their own email, because that is the whole point.
Raj has never strayed far from the craft either. He speaks at WordCamps, gives back to the WordPress community, and has spent years building tools for the people who run sites for a living. HostMyBlog is where it all began, and where the original promise still lives, earned the hard way and kept the same way: real care, done quietly and done well.

Bijal co-founded HostMyBlog and leads design and branding. She’s designed and conceptualised logos, brand identities, ebooks and newsletters for hundreds of bloggers, and owns every design touch HostMyBlog ships.
Aditya
